The second coat of joint compound is applied to the wallboard, followed by sanding.

After sanding, a third coat of compound smooths out the remaining imperfections.

With the sanding finished after the third coat, the new wallboard gets a coat of primer.

New walls, ready for paint.

The new corner bead gives the wall a nice, sharp corner. My supervisor approves.

The patched sections of the vaulted ceiling joint are also sanded and primed.
