Welcome to the nursery project. First, some "before" photos. This room was a spare bedroom.
Now, everything is being moved out to make way for an addition to the family. No, not Brodie.

Some of the furniture went to a consignment shop. None of it's coming back.

Work on this room won't be as substantial as the living room, but all the moulding and heaters
are being replaced, and everything's getting painted.

After removing the closet doors (leaning above), I inspected the walls of the room and closet.

The walls needed spackle in many places. The closet had a wire shelf system that created a lot
of holes in the wall.

From the "What-Were-They-Thinking" Department, removing the outlet covers revealed an awful
shade of green from the 1970s. Far out, man. As always, I'll be replacing all the receptacles.

All the "clamshell" moulding comes off, to make way for colonial profile moulding. I preserve
the window sills, because they're in good shape...though they needed sanding and paint.

Once the spackle dries, I'll sand and coat all the wals with primer.
Meanwhile, Mr. Patient waits for me to go play Frisbee.
