After installing moulding, I always run a tiny bead of caulk to seal any gaps between the casings
and the wall. Once painted, this creates a sharp, clean line where the wall color meets the gloss white.

The door received two coats of high gloss ultra pure white as well.

Since I am replacing the old hinges with new, brushed nickel finish ones, it was easier to take the
door down to paint. It also allowed me to paint the entire door jamb.

The windows are finished with two coats of high-gloss white.

"Hey! Enough with the camera, and get back to work!"

A close-up of the finished windows. The old sill blends in with the new colonial moulding.
