The gloss white goes up on the doors.

I spent some time cleaning up the old chest freezer. After 25 years of being a workbench, it was
pretty dirty. Most of the dirt and grime came off, but some of the paint is on there for the long haul.

My supervisor made a surprise visit to the job site.

After what seemed like and eternity, it was finally time to put up the wall color...a bright, light yellow.

Even sealed and primed, concrete walls use up a lot of paint.

The walls get two coats of paint. The paint looks glossy because it's still wet in this photo.
The final sheen is eggshell (between flat and satin).

I looked at a lot of pastel colors, but decided to go with yellow to brighten up what is essentially a
basement room. Plus, the yellow brings a little warmth to the fluorescent lights.

A couple of more views of the finished walls. Again, the paint looks glossy because it's wet.
